This week, we’re exploring the past lives of some historical (and personal) figures, using the French compound past tense: Le Pass\u00e9 Compos\u00e9<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0\u23f3<\/p>\n

One thing to remember about Le Pass\u00e9 Compos\u00e9<\/em> is that, though it may “look” like the English Present Perfect – i.e. “I have done”, it is actually mostly used to express completed actions, closer to the Simple Past (I did). \ud83e\udd13<\/p>\n
