This week, we’re dancing, singing along and celebrating en musique<\/em> the irresistible F\u00eate de la Musique<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0\ud83c\udfb5\u263a\ufe0f<\/p>\n

Did you know that Music Day<\/strong>, or La F\u00eate de la Musique<\/em>, is a French invention? This uplifting celebration of music was launched in 1982 by the French Ministry of Culture, with the aim of being an energetic and inclusive festival where all musical genres, from classical to metal, are equally valid and accessible to everyone. On June 21st<\/strong> in France, musicians are allowed to set up and play freely in designated public spaces, and pour que la f\u00eate continue<\/em>, local French authorities traditionally suspend normal noise disturbance laws and curfews for the night. Vive la musique\u00a0!<\/em>\u00a0\ud83c\udfba\ud83e\ude97\ud83c\udfb8<\/p>\n
