Here’s a little round-up of how our students did in their French tests October (if you like, you can compare to September 2013’s French test stats<\/a><\/strong>)<\/p>\n

French Tests taken by type (CEFR and Kwiz “smart” tests)<\/h2>\n

On the left, a breakdown of our CEFR<\/a> test gradings; on the right, percentage of French tests that were CEFR level placements versus Kwizzes (our smart French level tests).<\/p><\/div>\n

We saw a similar breakdown in French CEFR level to last month, with greater numbers of students at the lower and higher levels, and few students in the middle, especially at B2 level. (If you want to find out how you compare to these, sign up and take our French CEFR test<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

We had less testing activity in October which is largely my fault as I was away in Los Angeles on a research trip for my novel (I write science fiction<\/a> when I’m not busy being an entrepreneur) and so I didn’t do much in the way of blogging and system development. Sorry about that, but I’m back on the case. Nonetheless, our top French testers made some really great progress!<\/p>\n

Top 5 testers improvement versus number of tests taken: there is a clear correlation which is no surprise. Regular testing has been proven to be one of the most effective learning strategies.<\/p><\/div>\n
