Tonight, it's Hallowe'en! My children have been dreaming of this day for weeks. They are very proud of their costumes! My daughter Ella is dressing up as a witch this year, she has a purple broom, a big black hat, and a small cauldron to put her sweets [US: candy] in! My son David is going to be a werewolf: he's been practising his wolf howl for a long time! Their friends are going to come here first, then they're going to leave together to go and knock on the neighbours' doors. I hope they're not going to eat too many sweets [US: too much candy]!
