You're so predictable! Not any more...

As well as the new French Voice feature and Freeform Verb Conjugation, we also improved existing features.

Order! Order!

new-feature-randomness

Students told us they didn’t like the way reading questions preceded writing questions, as they often gave away the answer. Also, too often topics appeared in a predictable order in subsequent tests, giving too much away. So, we’ve changed our tests so that they now always test production skills (writing) first, before testing reading; and we’ve mixed things up a bit by adding a little randomness to the question order so they’re less predictable. As a result, tests are more fun to do in quick succession and therefore much more effective. Kwiziq, the AI that analyses your knowledge to decide what to test you on and what to suggest you study, is also constantly being improved.

Great improvements, especially the new random order.
Still confusing what is the goal to reach (too many numbers spread around the UI.
Whats more, why don't you gradually show people new topics from next level, the hard separation between levels isn't natural (you still can have issues with a topic from A1 if you're in B1).

Thanks Adam. Your feedback as always, is invaluable. We do include things from previous levels we where know the student has struggled, but you're correct, we don't (yet) include things from levels above. Definitely worth thinking about a single 'test now' button which is level agnostic, as well as more control over what to test (which we're in discussion about). There's a lot coming soon in terms of clearer goals to reach and gamification which will hopefully address some of this. Love your feedback (and that from all students). Thanks again! Gareth
