There's nothing wrong with buying the classic Advent calendars which are filled with delicious pieces of chocolate. But, if you wish to offer something new and personalised, follow our super tips and DIY ideas to create your own entirely unique calendar. Let's start with one of the easiest calendars to make: take a long piece of string, to which you hang twenty-four colourful little paper envelopes with tiny pegs. The next step is to fill in your calendar with unusual surprises. For example, instead of chocolate, you could opt for inspirational quotes or a nice selection of beauty products. So, don't waste another minute and share the Christmas spirit!
