- A few days ago, I noticed some cracks in the wall of our fireplace. I worry that this could get worse. - Yes, they are quite big and require further investigation. - When we moved in here three years ago, there were already a couple of small cracks, but we'd decided not to worry about it. Do you think that it is a structural issue? - I would need to go on the roof in order to check if there is any damage to the brickwork. - If the problem turned out to be more serious, what kind of repairs would be necessary? - The most urgent would be to reinforce the walls with metal rods.
