Back to School

This week, we’re celebrating la rentrée des classes with a new episode of our podcast “A Bit of French with A&C”, where Céline and I enjoyed reminiscing about our school days 🤗

As usual, this podcast comes well-accompanied with extra resources: vocabulary lists, listening challenge, related exercises… 🤩

Alors, sans plus attendre, let’s chat about school subjects and special teachers… with a bit of French! 🧑‍🎓

School Subjects Vocabulary – A1 Level

Now, to get ready for la rentrée, let’s practise talking about school subjects in French! 📚 Refresh your knowledge by exploring our vocabulary list and its interactive Word Games.

Another great way to remember new vocabulary is to write sentences using it in context. Here’s an example for you to get inspired:

“- Bruno, quelles sont tes matières préférées (et détestées !) à l’école ?
– J’aime beaucoup les maths, la science, et aussi l’histoire-géographie. Mais ma matière favorite est l’art plastique parce que je suis très créatif. En revanche, je n’aime pas trop le français et la philosophie, car il faut beaucoup écrire, et je viens de commencer le latin, que je trouve à la fois stimulant et assez compliqué.”

Maintenant, c’est à vous de jouer !
