Enjoying that festive feeling a bit longer

This week, we want to bask a bit longer in December’s festive vibes, before starting afresh and diving into an exciting new year 🥳✨

In France, the start of the year is also cause for celebration as on January 6th, the day of the Epiphany, we enjoy the famous Galette des Rois 😋 This lovely flaky puff pastry tart filled with frangipane (a rich almond paste) is not only a delicious treat, but it also comes with an entertaining ritual: inside the cake is hidden a fève (little ceramic charm) and the person who finds it in their slice then becomes the King or Queen of the day (with the obligatory paper crown, bien sûr !) Such a fun way to start the year! 🤗👑

Alors, sans plus attendre, reminisce about your holidays with the lovely French Kwiziq content we’ve selected for you! 🥂😄
