How the test works

Here's a preview of the text for the writing challenge, when you're ready click the start button above:

- Can you tell me how French people elect the President of the Republic? - Yes. The president's mandate lasts five years. In France, we elect the president directly. - And how does it work? - There are two rounds. In the first round, all the candidates can run, and the citizens vote for their favourite candidate. Then, the two candidates in first and (in) second place go to the second round, and we vote again to choose who becomes the new president.
