Bien au-delà de tout cadeau
This question relates to:French writing exercise "Birthdays: a time to reflect"
Asked 3 months ago
Bonjour Pamela,
Chris is correct that it is not an option you would hear often as it has a slight derogatory meaning associated to it. In this instance, I would definitely recommend using the expression "bien au-delà de tout cadeau".
I hope this is helpful.
Bonne journée !

Yes, you could say that. It doesn't sound like something you'd hear often but it is correct. There is a slight difference in meaning, though:
bien au-delà d'un cadeau quelconque -- far beyond any random gift / a gift of any kind
bien au-delà de tout cadeau -- far beyond any gift.
