Can one say "Cela c'est encourageant for "that's encouraging"?

Supported! I wrote « ça, c’est très encourageant « and felt that this sounds better than just « c’est » in this context. Is this incorrect? In my view you would in English say « that is very encouraging », not « it is very encouraging » in this situation.
