I found that in ce. it stress on u a bit more. especially ce sont. it sounds like suh sont.
ce - U is more stessed than usual.

not sure what section you are referring to in the link, as there is no ‘ ce sont .. ‘ in this dictée. ‘ C’est un plat… ‘ and ‘ c’est une recette … ‘.
At this level, the exercises are spoken unnaturally slowly for a native speaker. Consequently the pronunciation is also exaggerated, but it is ‘ correct ‘ - these are native speakers.
