Changes in pronunciation?
This question relates to:French lesson "Adjectives ending with mute -e don't change in the feminine in French"
Asked 3 weeks ago
Bonjour Neha,
No, the pronunciation won't change in this case as per the lesson:
"when the adjective already ends in a mute -e in the masculine form, it doesn’t change in the feminine.”
un jeune homme = a young man
une jeune femme = a young woman
un véhicule rapide = a fast vehicle
une voiture rapide = a fast car
Listen to the examples in the lesson to hear how the adjectives are pronounced.
I hope this is helpful.
Bonne journée !
