You are correct! We've now changed this sentence. 

Just a little note on the use of antibiotics in France: for a very very long time, doctors used to prescribe antibiotics even for little colds (they were still doing it in the late 90s). It is happening far less these days. However, it is still very much present in French people's minds (i.e. my parents' generation, for example) as the go-to-solution with flu or a cold. ;-)
