Hello, why is it:

Mon village favori ?

and

Mon village préféré?

Its not spoken about the past? And if, why "favori"?

Bonjour Alexandra,

In French, "favori" and "préféré" are both adjectives and not verbs.

Mon village favori/préféré est en Corse. = My favourite village is in Corsica.
