Feel like the hint saying "literally I make the chestnuts roast" is misleading as it's not a literal translation in French ? it's inverted ?

Bonjour James - Even when providing a literal translation, we still need to take logical language into account. Saying "I make roast the chestnuts" is simply nonsense. In this particular example, the point of our literal hint is to signal that this sentence needs the causative construction, and I believe it does that.

Then rather saying it's a "literal translation" say that it's just a hint to avoid confusion. It may be nonsense but that is the "literal" translation which is required for the French construction of that sentence.
