hi Ron thank you .I asked the question in response to one of the writing challenges, when I used the word to mean cash ( thinking that the translation implied money in the form of coins and notes rather than cheques or credit card), But the answers given did not propose liquide as a translation. so I guess now I need to ask how best to ask a friend do you have any cash to pay for the coffee? and what would be the wording of the question using liquide.
