Ôter versus enlever

When I used , it was marked out in favor of , which I never hear i conversation. However, at the end of the exercise, I see enlever used when the text is played back. Looks like an oversight or self-contradiction you can easily repair.

Thank you for pointing this out. You are correct that both 'enlever' and 'ôter' are correct alternatives.

Hi Max,

Seems to me that these two verbs are very close in the context of this exercise.

ôter -> take something out of something.

Enlever -> remove/lift off or washout (in this context)

Is it not the case that they are interchangeable for this particular exercise?
