passé composé ( conversational past )

Some verb tense questions specify "passé composé" and some specify "passé composé ( conversational past ) ". What's the difference ? What is "conversational past" ?

Bonjour Keith, "Conversational past" is our English translation of passé composé. We're just not as consistent as we could be about including it in lesson titles.
