Passionnant vs excitant

Just curious if we can use “excitant” instead of passionnant? Thanks!

Bonjour Nils,

In this context, you would definitely use "passionnant" as it relates to the intellectual or emotional kick she's getting from her job. If you use "excitant", you are referring more to the physical kick you get out of something.

Je trouve cette nouvelle excitante = I find this news exciting

Je trouve ce roman passionnant = I find this novel exciting

I hope this is helpful.

Bonne journée !
