This appeared in my test. The question I have is not around the the subject pronoun, but about "ont de jolies poupées". Is this a rule regarding "avoir de"? So whatever object follows it, whether it's singular or plural you always use "de"?
Ta soeur et ses amis ont de jolies poupées.

Isa-Lee, the following lesson addresses this. The plural adjective preceding the noun is the reason this becomes "ont de", not "ont des"
"Des" becomes " de/d' " in front of adjectives preceding nouns (French Partitive Articles)
