Bonjour Kathryn,

J'ai décidé de faire la vaiselle = I decided to do the dishes

-> décider de faire [quelque chose]

J'ai décidé Marc à déménager = I persuaded Marc to move away

-> décider [quelqu'un] à [faire]

Je suis décidé à lutter contre cette décision = I am decided on fighting against this decision

-> se décider à faire [quelque chose]

I hope this is helpful.

Bonne journée !

Bonjour Kathryn,

We can decide to (as per the lesson)  or decide on (eg. to make a decision - Which day shall we go on holiday?)

Hope this helps

Bonne Journée

Jim
