un peu de versus un petit pastis

Question

"Je ne serais pas contre un petit pastis" -  could you also say, "Je ne serais pas contre un peu de pastis? It seems that pastis is a liqueur therefore you would be referring to "a little bit of pastis" versus as translated which seems to say "a little pastis" (in terms of size, for example). Thank you.

Thank you for your comment! I flagged this with the rest of teh team and it triggered a good discussion. Therefore, we decided to change to the English to "a small pastis" as here it reflects better what we're trying to express (i.e. a quantity -> small vs large [drink]). However, "un peu de" would still not work as it doesn't match with the English.
