Why don't i get points for being almost right or not too far out.

Question

Just did test and got various bits wrong but various bits right. Should have got more points for good effort.

I like your suggestion about getting points for "good efforts" but that is not how Kwizbot is set up.
Remember that when completing a writing or dictation exercise, it's important to self-mark each sentence using the star system (under each submitted/corrected answers - you choose how many stars to award yourself each time - Kwizbot won't do it for you). If you don't do this, Kwizbot assumes that you haven't submitted a score. It will then record your result as zero even if your answers were actually correct.
We received feedback a while ago from users who were not interested in scoring their own answers which is why we decided to put this system in place. However, if you do wish to score yourself in order to get a better picture of your progress/performance, do not forget to do so using the star system.
