Conjugate aller in Le Présent (present tense)

The verb aller (to go) is irregular (it doesn't conjugate the same way as most verbs ending in -er).

It conjugates like this in Présent indicatif:

je vais
tu vas
il/elle/on  va
nous allons
vous allez
ils/elles vont

Here are some examples to listen to:

Je vais à Paris aujourd'hui.
I'm going to Paris today.

Tu vas à la fête ?
Are you going to the party?

Elle va au marché.
She goes to the market.

Nous allons au cinéma.
We're going to the cinema.

Vous allez au centre commercial tous les jours.
You go to the shopping centre every day.

Ils vont aux magasins.
They're going to the shops.

Although "on" is used to mean "we," it is a third person singular part of speech and is always conjugated like il / elle, which is why the answer was "va". It may also be translated as "one," as is "On ne doit pas parler pendant un film" "One should not talk during a film."

Va, sorry, not vas

How do we read the year in a date? how do we speak it?

Bonjour Jose ! There are two ways to say a year in French: - you either read it as a normal number: 1820 = mille huit cent vingt (one thousand eight hundred and twenty) - or you divide in the middle: 1820 = dix-huit *cent* vingt (eighteen hundred twenty) I hope that's helpful! À bientôt !
