I'm really struggling with the correct use of some tenses, in particular l'imparfait. In the B1 challenge no. 42 (3/02/17) the title was 'Yesterday we celebrated Candlemas' so I used the passé composé. The correct answer was l'imparfait (for quite a few of the questions) like 'they all had to bring...'; 'I had to take care of...' and 'for there was nothing left...' Could you please clarify this for me. Many thanks, Merle
