KwizIQ is Now KwizIQ

Here’s the Story Behind our Name

You’ve probably already noticed: our name looks a little different.

KwizIQ is now KwizIQ. Same pronunciation, same platform, same team behind it — we’ve just stopped burying the best part. And if you’ve ever wondered where the name came from in the first place, well, now’s a good time to explain.

The IQ Was There All Along

The name has always been kwiz + IQ — short, low-stakes practice, paired with something genuinely intelligent working out what you know, what you don’t, and what lessons to send you next. That’s the actual mechanism behind your Study Plan, your Brainmap, and every kwiz Kwizbot builds for you.

We’d just been writing it in a way that left the “IQ” lowercase and easy to miss.

Not anymore. Capital I, capital Q. KwizIQ.

Nothing about the platform has changed. Your progress, Study Plan, Brainmap, and Notebook — are all exactly where you left them.

Same Idea, Sharper Words

We’ve also retired “get faster to fluent” in favour of something that says what we actually do:

Faster to fluent.

It’s a promise, not just a phrase. Every part of KwizIQ — our Level Test, your personalised Study Plan, our short kwizzes designed to fit into two minutes of your day — exists to close the distance between where you are now and actually speaking French confidently. Not “eventually”. Faster.

If you’ve ever felt like traditional French learning takes too long or that most apps keep you busy without getting you closer to fluent, that’s the gap KwizIQ was built to close.
