Newsletter: Music Day

Music Day

This week, we’re letting loose to the tune of our favourite hits to celebrate La Fête de la Musique 🎧

Did you know that France doesn’t use the letter notation system for reading music (A-B-C-D-E-F-G), but rather the following suite of syllables: do-ré-mi-fa-sol-la-si ? 🎵

Music Day also means Summer is here in the Northern hemisphere! Discover our awesome Summer Challenge Promo below 🌞

Alors, sans plus attendre, let’s sing along to the catchy French Kwiziq content we’ve selected for you!

Music Instruments Vocabulary – A1-B1 Level

It’s time to join the musical festivities and talk about les instruments de musique in French 🎶
Come and explore our vocabulary list and its interactive word game!

Another great way to remember new vocabulary is to write sentences using it in context. Here’s an example for you to get inspired:

“Jérôme et ses amis font partie d’un groupe de musique et ils jouent tous d’un instrument. Olivier joue de la batterie, Lucie joue de la basse et Jérôme chante et il est à la guitare. Sur certains morceaux, ils ont aussi la participation de l’accordéon de Lyse et du piano de Lucas.”

À vous de jouer !
