Newsletter: Say Cheese!

Say Cheese!

This week, we’re exploring the vast and mouthwatering world of les fromages français 🧀🇫🇷

Let’s start with some interesting facts about France and le fromage. Did you know that France is the country with the most types of cheese, boasting more than 1200 distinct cheese varieties? And all this cheese doesn’t go to waste, with French people consuming roughly 24 to 26 kg per person annually, making us some of the top consumers of cheese per capita. There’s a reason we call France le pays du fromage! ☺️

Alors, sans plus attendre, cut yourselves a slice of delicious brie while you enjoy the scrumptious French Kwiziq content we’ve selected for you! 🪤😋

French Proverb

Let’s start with a wise – if a bit cheeky – French proverb, exhorting us to consume cheese as a healthy food, though only in moderation (which can be helped by a stingy host!):

“Tout fromage est sain, qui vient de chiche main”

(Any cheese is healthy, when it comes from a stingy hand.)
