How the test works

Here's a preview of the text for the writing challenge, when you're ready click the start button above:

Germaine and Pierrot met while taking part in a yoga retreat. Having both reached their sixties and feeling increasingly lonely, they'd decided to try something new and different. Little did they know what fate had in store for them. With each yoga stretch and body contortion, they couldn't help but steal glances at one another, like two teenagers who had a crush for the first time. Germaine had immediately caught Pierrot's eye with her infectious laughter and her incredible penchant for jokes. And despite Pierrot's loud snoring during the meditation sessions and his failed attempts at mastering the tree pose, Germaine was inexplicably drawn to him. It was as if the universe had conspired to bring together two souls in the most unexpected of places: this yoga retreat!

Clever stuff happening!
