This summer, I visited Normandy and I spent a day at Omaha beach. Many American soldiers died there on June 6th 1944. I also went to Omaha cemetery and it was a very moving visit. It's a very peaceful place with thousands of white crosses. I said thank you to these men because they fought for our freedom. I'm grateful for this experience because it's important to remember history.

Clever stuff happening!
