My father was born in the USA, where most of his family still lives. This summer, we'll be visiting my uncles at the beginning of July, which means we'll get to celebrate Independence Day with them! I've always wanted to experience this American tradition. According to my aunt Liz, we will start the day with a big breakfast where I'll stuff myself with pancakes and bacon. After that, we'll head to the town's parade where there'll be a marching band and many decorated floats. Of course, we'll all be dressed in red, white and blue for the occasion! Later in the afternoon, we will have a barbecue in their garden, and there'll also be a buffet with (some) mixed salads and (some) classic American desserts. In the evening, the day will end with the main event: fireworks, which are supposed to be much bigger than where I'm from. I can't wait to be there!

Getting that for you now...
