The holiday season is an occasion to remember that there are less fortunate people than oneself. In those moments, it is important for us to help those who are in need. Thus, on New Year's Eve, my friends and I are going to serve hot meals to the homeless of our neighbourhood. We started doing it a few years ago, and it's now become a tradition. All that the poor people who end up in this situation want, is to be treated as human beings in their own right, and that's exactly what the extraordinary volunteers who take turns all year long do. Us, we only do it once a year: it's not much, but the moments that we share that night remain etched in our memories.

Clever stuff underway!
