I became (a) vegetarian at the age of 16. I've never liked the taste of meat, especially red meat, and I can't bear (it) when animals are mistreated. When I told my parents that I didn't want to eat meat any longer, at first, they didn't take me seriously. But when I explained [to them] why I was making this choice, they respected my decision. It's been difficult for my mother, because she had to learn how to cook vegetarian dishes. Luckily, she proved to be very gifted!

I'll be right with you...
