Learn how to conjugate AVOIR (to have) in Le Subjonctif Présent in French
The verb AVOIR is irregular in Le Subjonctif Présent:
que j'aie | that I have |
que tu aies | that you have |
qu'il/elle/on ait | that he/she/one has |
que nous ayons | that we have |
que vous ayez | that you have |
qu'ils/elles aient | that they have |
Note that:
- The il/elle/on ending doesn't match the expected Le Subjonctif Présent ending (-e): il ait
- The root ai- becomes ay- in the nous and vous form.
