I was wondering when there are more than 2 adverbs in the same sentence how do you know which one to put first?

for example you guys have un paysage incroyablement beau.

Bonjour Nicole,

As Mark correctly explained, 'incroyablement' is an adverb that refers to the adjective 'beau'. Most of the time, an adverb modifying an adjective will be placed before the adjective (such as in your example). If it is modifying a verb, it will follow it.

Have a look at the following link, which explains where adverbs are placed: Position of most adverbs

I hope this is helpful.

Bonne journée !

Looking at your example, you are using the same natural order that we would in English.. the incroyablement is qualifying the adjective beau. You would say très belle not a belle très. I cannot think of any examples where the order might be reversed.

This is always a problem for English students who do not really study grammar at school... you would expect an adverb to qualify a verb.. it can.. but it is also used as a hotch potch to cover other descriptive words such as ad-adjectives...Took me ages of confusion before I discovered that!... and I forgot it here!!.. Thanks Céline..
