"The format is great – I really like this new feature. One comment about the Level A1 exercise – in the 2nd last sentence, I believe it should read “elle invite des amis pour la goûter” - la referring to la tarte.  A nice new feature. Thanks!"

Hi Lynn and Aleida,

No it is correct  but I can see your confusion.

'Le goûter' is a snacky afternoon meal (a bit like tea in English), traditionally for children to have after school before the evening meal (dîner) which is much later in France.
