No, you couldn't use
être d'accord de faire quelque chose
To agree to do something is to accept to do something
https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english-french/to-agree-to-do-sth
You would accept the invitation to go out with Paul.

accepter -- to accept
être d'accord avec... -- to agree with someone's opinion...
Grammatically it is correct, although they do mean different things.
