beaucoup / bien mieux

beaucoup / bien mieux

The suggested translation of 'will justify much better' is 'justifiera bien mieux'; and if you try 'justifiera beaucoup mieux' it is marked wrong. I had thought either would be fine here?

Hi Tom,

I have flagged this up and asked to consider adding it.

In the meantime, there is a slight difference in meaning -

" Both phrases are used to express that something is being justified in a significantly better way.

The difference is subtle:

- "Bien mieux" might be closer to "far better" or "considerably better" -

- "Beaucoup mieux" could be translated as "much better" or "a lot better" "

Hope this helps!
