I see above that bleu canard ´ is translated as ´peacock blue’ Should this not be duck blué´Paon is peacock I thought. Am I wrong?

this is not a direct word for word translation - the colour commonly referred to as ‘ peacock blue ‘ in English is commonly called ‘ bleu canard ‘ in French, or vice versa, if you wish.
Colour names are not standardised though.
