Can you use douée?

I put douée - is there any reason why talentueuse was the preferred translation of 'talented'?

Bonjour Charles,

"a painter (woman)" as in the preamble. This is why I see the description (in the full text) as "talentueuse"

I agree that "douée" is a possible synonym, in the sense of capable/brilliant, but not necessarily talented, as mentioned in the full text.

Hope this helps.

Bonne journée

Jim
