Comments on pronunciation.

1) Could you please explain why 'papier' is pronounced with an 's' as it sounds like 'papSier'.

2) 'avec les mains et les pieds', To my ear 'pieds' sounds like 'lipsé' ... any help with understanding this pronunciation would be appreciated.

Hi Stewart,

I have listened to the dictation exercise and I don't hear any difference between the 'pier' of papier and pieds( feet).

They are pronounced the same....

I can't really advise on pronunciation, but maybe what you heard was "les pieds"?
