Could someone please explain why my answer is wrong?

Question: Vous _______ le bus arrive.

My answer: Vous attendez le bus arrive.

I just don't understand why it's wrong.

The correct answer is:

Vous attendez que le bus arrive.

It is wrong because you have two different subjects in the sentence: vous and le bus. In these cases you always need que.

No, le bus is the subject, it is doing the arriving.
