I am still confused about whether should I use Des or Les
Je veux des bonbonsJe veux les bonbons
Why the second sentence wouldn't be correct?
Je veux des bonbons. -- I want (some) candy.Je veux les bonbons. -- I want the candy.
The first sentence speaks about general candy, whereas the second one refers to a specific set of candy, e.g., the bonbons in the bowl on the table.
The first says I want some sweets
The second says I want the sweets
Use des if you want some sweets and les if you want all the sweets
