In the lessons on endings it says that amongst the exceptions endings …eur are feminine but the answer was marked as masculine. This answer does not follow the lessons rules. Please could you explain

Bonjour Rupert,
You're right that it states that nouns ending in -eur are feminine BUT ONLY for abstract nouns. It also mentioned that there are exceptions:
Exceptions: le bonheur (happiness), le malheur (misery), un honneur...
and all the non-abstract nouns in -eur: un ascenseur (elevator), un aspirateur (a vacuum cleaner), un chanteur (a singer)...
