hyopthesis with le conditionnel - never takes passé composé

Why is my answer incorrect when I have a hypothetical "si" clause.  The lesson said passé composé is never used with a "si clause".  The correct answer used future conditional for the verb être.  Thank you.

Without any hint to the question or your answer, it isn't possible to provide any definitive answer - except that as per the lesson -the  si (if) clause uses imparfait, the conditional (then) clause uses the conditional mood (not 'future conditional', and considered a mood rather than a tense). Probably best to link directly from the relevant quiz through report button, but adding the details here would allow more comprehensive responses.
