Hi Laura,

As the lesson states, to play an instrument you use

de + la ---> de la clarinette

de + le = du ----> du violon

de l' -----> de l'orgue

so :

Je joue de la guitare, du trombone, de la harpe, de l'orgue, du hautbois, du piano etc.
