Is there ''Les vaisselles''?

Is ''faisait les vaisselles '' the correct usage? When I learn and write down the sentence, I spell like that.  Am I right?

Il faisait la vaisselle. -- He did the dishes.

It is always singular -

faire la vaisselle = to do the dishes
