Is this in the wrong place?

I am having problems putting this paragraph in context.. seems very isolated and not clearly explained.

Where in English, you'd use of (She reminds me of Paula), there will be no preposition in French (Elle me rappelle de Paula)

Bonjour Mark,

You are correct that the explanation needed to be amended. It has now been done and should be much clearer.

She reminds me of Paula. -> Elle me rappelle de Paula.

Merci et bonne journée !

Agree Mark, had to read it a couple of times to get it ! I think it could be made a bit clearer.

English

(a)“She reminds me….” (b) “of Paula” (c) She reminds me of Paula

 French

(a) “Elle me rappelle…” (b) “Paula” (not ‘de Paula’) (c) “Elle me rappelle Paula”

(This is the same structure as seen in the initial examples in the lesson, except for the use of the indirect object pronoun, rather than “à (NAME/NOUN)”, as “Elle rappelle Paula à moi” is incorrect.)
